With Love from Japan

Saga International Balloon Festival Days 3 and 4

Guess who has a cold? Me! (Yesterday was very bad – the guys ended up bringing me their heater, for which I am very thankful)

As always, I’m using the lull before the afternoon competition to write this. Sadly, the afternoon competitions for both day 2 and 3 were cancelled, Day 2 because of the wind and Day 3 because it started raining.

Yesterday, I went to the opposite side of the river (the launch side has a river on one side), to try and take photos, and it wasn’t very successful. Mostly probably because I’m not that good a photographer. I so much prefer taking photos within the launch site.

Taken from the other side. It actually reminds me of Up for some reason…

And… back to a photo of the launch site:

Not much has happened apart from that, actually. I worked on my Paper, NaNoWriMo started and I managed to write 500 words.

I’m hoping that the weather will be great. I want to see the afternoon competition, and the night balloons! It seems like the wind is a little strong right now, so fingers crossed!

What do you think?
