For Monbukagakusho (MEXT) Scholars

Hey there,

I’ve archived all my MEXT posts into a separate blog, to make it easier to browse. Links below are organised by topic for ease of search; if you click on them, many of them will lead you away from this site. If you’re looking for posts on my time in Japan, they’re here under the With Love from Japan category.

Note: Please remember that all these posts reflect my personal experience. You may experience something quite different (especially for the application, and especially if you’re from a different country). Additionally, I graduated from university in 2017, which means that it’s been quite a few years since my application – things probably have changed since them. I hope my sharing helps, but please do not assume that the process has remained constant. If in doubt, ask the embassy.

And if the information here is useful to you, please consider supporting me via ko-fi! Thank you!
