Hello friend!

I’m Eustacia but my friends call me either ‘Eus’ or ‘Taco’. I love fairytales, especially in their original form, so it’s probably no surprise that I write dark fairytale sequels. The main series that I’ve published is the Coming from Darkness series, which starts off with the Nutcracker slowly breaking down because he’s not human and the lengths he’ll go to make Marie’s his (you don’t have to have read The Nutcracker and the Mouse King, but it will definitely help if you have!). Book two follow’s Sleeping Beauty’s family as they navigate a post-Evil Queen world and all the stress that families can have. In Book three, you’ll see the results of the first two books, as Snow White’s daughter tries to protect herself and her kingdom from an increasingly aggressive Nutcracker king.

Apart from dark fantasy, I also like to dabble in other genres. I love Japan and anime (probably because I lived in Japan for five years) so I wrote a collection of short stories: The School for Anime Characters. My otaku friends find it funny and I hope you do too!

This blog is mainly about the books I’m reading and the tea drinking, but I make no promises to stick only to those two topics!
