New Teaware Haul! (With Unboxing Video)

I’ve been going stir-crazy in the house due to the Circuit Breaker and as a result, I’ve made a fair amount of teacup purchases! You already know that I love vintage teacups so it should be no surprise that I got more! (Or perhaps the number I got will be a surprise?)

To celebrate the arrival of the packages, I did an unboxing video:

And now, for the pictures and more information about the shops!

All You Can Tea (Edinburgh)

My first purchase was from All You Can Tea, a vintage shop located in Edinburgh! I purchased four duos and one trio from them. Unfortunately, the saucer plate for the trio arrived cracked – I think because of the disinfectants used (that damaged the box). I reached out to see if I could buy another saucer plate, but they offered to refund me the cost of plate instead.

Apart from the trio-turned duo, I also got three chintzy duos! When I started buying teacups, I pretty much only wanted those with simple patterns but lately, I’ve been finding myself drawn to chintz! The flowers in the cup are a bit faded (second picture on the carousel) but it adds to the charm, in my opinion.

The teacups also look fantastic stacked, like I did in this IG post:

My last duo from this shop is from the Scottish Tartan series! I’ve realised that I’ve visited one of the Clan Macleod castles last year, so expect a post on this duo in the future! (and the rest of my teacups because I do want to talk about all of them in great detail eventually)

Overall, I found this shop to be lovely and their pictures are gorgeous! I’m definitely going to be buying more when my wallet recovers.

Anne’s Vintage Delights (United Kingdom)

This is another shop with gorgeous pictures of their beautiful teaware. I bought from Anne because I wanted the trio, which was similar to one that I did not manage to buy from All You Can Tea (it was a Royal Stafford that got sold out). Anne was very helpful with the postage and I ended up getting one trio and one two-tier cake stand so that I have somewhere to display my smaller baked goods!

Overall, I had a great experience here as well. Anne was very responsive and she dispatched my order quickly. The things were also very well-wrapped – even though the box was pretty dented when it arrived, the cake stand and the trio arrived in perfect condition!

Sorry in advance if I made you want to buy! But these are beautiful pieces and I’m having a lot of fun using them as I continue working from home.

  1. Pretty sets! I’ve also been spending a lot (wayy too much actually) on books and teas during our MCO since March, and I’ve got some more coming. Also eyeing some new teawares! But considering that I’m not one to spend much on clothes, shoes and makeup, I think that’s fine. *Self-justification* 😂

What do you think?
