Tisane Review: Bled Memories by Jasmin Tea House

I hope everyone likes tisanes because most of my unopened teas contain absolutely no caffeine! And yes, this tea is from Slovenia and I’m just getting around to reviewing it.

While we were in Bled, a friend of mine told me about this tea shop that she found and of course I had to visit it. And of course, I had to see what the local blends were, and when I heard that they had a few blends made with local herbs, I decided to check it out! Since these are tisanes, the reviews will be shorter than usual but I hope it intrigues you (especially if you’re planning a trip to Slovenia).

The dry leaves smell tangy and minty, I think because there’s rosehip and peppermint in the tea? It definitely smells inviting.

The brewed tea has a stronger herbal and minty scent. Although there is rosehip, the tisane isn’t tangy – it’s basically minty with a sweet herbal note. I was expecting to taste the rosehip since I thought I smelled it in the dry leaves, but I didn’t. Still, the tea is pretty good and I can see myself drinking it regularly!
