Hey guys! I’m back from a family holiday to the UK. I managed to schedule a post every other day for when I was gone, so hopefully you didn’t notice anything different.
I was planning to resume reviews + other posts today, but it seemed odd not to acknowledge the trip in some way. It’s been a great trip, not just for everything I’ve managed to see but also for the time spent away from normal life. It was a good reset and that, coupled with a two books on digital minimalism I managed to read, has gotten me thinking about further changes I want to make to my digital habits. I’ve found that committing to regular blogging has been helpful in getting me to be more intentional about drinking tea and how I read, as well as helping me to find balance with a blogging app that was not helping my emotional state. So it’s time to consider what to do next – something I’ll do as I start writing reviews for the books I read on the trip and think more about their contents.
So, trip-related posts that will be coming up:
- Book haul
- Tea haul
- Reviews of the books I read on the trip and teas I drank (reviews of the things I actually bought will have to come later as I slowly read/try them)
- I am considering a few travel posts – reviews of tours and possibly highlights of certain places (like York Chocolate Story). I know that I don’t want to do day-by-day recaps of the whole trip, but I would like to have parts of it down here. It’s not what I normally blog about, though, so I’m unsure how much or what to write.
I’ll be spending the weekend writing as much as I can, hoping that jetlag doesn’t get in the way, and then I’ll start sprinkling in travel posts here and there. To end, here are some pictures that I took from the trip:
Welcome back! You went to Scotland? Lucky!!!!
Thanks! Well, I was there for about 5 days which is too short imo!
