The 2019 edition of the Singapore Tea Festival (STF) is over! I’ve got to admit, even though I was working there the whole three days, it’s all a bit of a blur. Most of my time was spent solving problems or working the registers and when I wasn’t at the event, I was helping at a friend’s wedding.
Because lots of things were a blur, I guess this post is really about the STF VIP bag. I was SO EXCITED when I heard about this, but I felt like I shouldn’t be buying it because there were limited quantities and really, actual customers should be the ones buying it. Luckily for me, my mum also likes to drink tea and when she heard about the bag (she follows us on all social media to show support the way a mum does), she bought it.
Ignore the Gryphon box + Puer tea – those are part of the things my mom bought. We were pretty surprised by the amount of things they managed to fit into the bag. It’s not just tea – there were food items (for food and tea pairings) as well as coupons. But my real interest is in the tea. Here’s a picture of all the teas in the bag (and the granola, which I forgot to take out):
Here is a list of the teas:
- Earl Grey by Roji Cha
- Taster pack by Arinobu Tea
- AntiOxiDant T by Herb Brewer (GainBrands)
- Pandanus Green Tea by Savis
- Rooibos Orange by Kindred Teas
- Nespresso teapod by Teaory.co
- Teas from Pin Tea
- Sampler pack by 1872 Clipper Tea Co.
- Osmanthus Oolong by The Tea Crafters
- Two Infusion-de-vie teas
- A box of Lapsang Souchong by Tea Cottage
- Love by Pukka
- Classic Collection by OVP
It’s a pretty long list of teas but I’m looking forward to trying them! I don’t think I’ll be reviewing everything, especially those that are only a packet or two since there won’t be enough to have a proper try. But, I will definitely be posting a few reviews – I’m pretty excited since a lot of these brands are new to me.
Stay tuned!
That’s quite the haul! I have the same cup from Teapasar. They were a sponsor at the tea festival here in NYC 🙂
Yes! For a VIP bag it was very worth it. Can’t wait to try all the teas (:
Oh yes, some of my colleagues went for the NYC festival. It sounded really fun!
