Teas I Brought to France

I can’t write a post on new teacups without talking about the teas that I’ve been drinking! I’ve actually got some teas on the way (it’s a pre-order from Rare Tea Company) but I thought I’d talk about the teas that I brought.

In the teabag category, we have a selection of teas from Karel Capek! I’ve got two rooibos tisanes (green and red, both plain), a Good Night Herb tisane (chamomile, peppermint, and some other ingredients I’ve forgotten), some jasmine black tea (a tie-up with Detective Conan!) and some apply black tea. I brought all these because teabags can be convenient, especially in the first few days.

And in the loose leaf category, we have: Santomi’s Wakoucha (the first tea that I opened, actually), two Lupicia blooming teas, a Taiwan Four Feason ‘Red Pearl’ Oolong tea, and a Tieguanyin I received from a friend. The Red Pearl oolong is new to me so I’m pretty excited to try it! I didn’t bring any Japanese green teas because the only teaware I brought was a gaiwan and it doesn’t handle smaller leaves very well.

And that’s about it! I don’t think it’s a lot of tea, since I’ve been so focused on drinking down my tea stash these past few months, so I’m excited to finally start buying more. In fact, I’ve got a pre-order from Rare Tea Company that’s finally shipped so that’s some new tea coming my way…

    1. Yes!! I don’t know if these shops are in Nice (so far I’ve only seen Kusmi tea haha) but if I have the chance I’d like to visit them!

What do you think?
