Tisane Review: Alpina by Jasmin Tea House

Hi friends! This is going to be a fairly short review because it’s another tisane and unlike Bled Memories, written in Slovene so I don’t even know what’s in it. I bought it mostly because it smelled fruity and I like fruity tisanes.

As you can see, the dry leaves are a mix of herbs and berries. It smells really good – sweet, fruity, and a little tangy.

The only thing I understood about this tisane was that they recommended steeping it for 8 to 10 minutes which was… a lot. And for me, not really necessary. The tisane that was steeped for 8 minutes definitely looked a lot darker than the one that was steeped for about half the time, but in terms of taste, it wasn’t noticeably stronger. I think the main difference I got was that the tisane that was brewed for 8 minutes had a very slight herbal note in addition to the fruity and slightly sweet notes that are already present.

Between Bled Memories and this, I think I like this more! Bled Memories may have mint, but it’s also got a stronger herbal note and my preference for tisanes like this is definitely for a more fruity note.
