Daily Reading: 27th May//East (Part 1)

Short little update today:

It’s so weird to think that the month is ending – it feels like I just started this rereading project! It’s getting a bit hard to choose what to read next because there are so many books that I want to reread! I’ll probably do this again soon – maybe every half a year? Or perhaps I should keep it a yearly thing?

Today’s read is East by Edith Pattou! This was one of the first retellings that made a huge impression on me (not that I knew it was a retelling at that time) and I have kept it in a corner of my heart ever since.

Unfortunately, the long break is over and I had to catch up on work today, so I only managed to finish half a book. Still, with the hot weather, it’s been fantastic to be able to escape to colder countries – even if it’s only through the pages of a book!

What do you think?
